Hi i just got my reservist posting.

 

What unit is SNSR, SUP/TPT IHL ? Anyone can enlighten?

IHL - ... higher learning, forgot what the 'I' stands for. Like wat previous forumer mentioned.

 

If possible, try to join back your company, the one u ORD with. Otherwise, after your studies, you will get posted to some other company with people you dont know, most likely other IHL, new ORDians, or hardly-called super old birds.

IHL = Institute of Higher Learning

 

SNSR, SUP/TPT, IHL

 

SNSR = Study list National Service Reservist

 

SUP/TPT suggests that the TS was probably formerly from a transport/supply battalion. Either that or he is now posted there as a NS man.

IMHO, reservist is a more appropriate word than Operationally Ready.

 

Can't really be OR when you only go back to do something 'once in a while'...

 

But, that's just my thoughts..
