Hi.

Looking for 2L rear sliding door 8 seater MPV.

Narrow down to these 2 models.

Assuming same grade and price, which would be a better choice?

Below is a summary of what I found out so far :

TOYOTA NOAH

- Transmission : Super CVT-i

- 13.4 km/l (base on 10.15mode)

- Horse Power : 143 PS @ 6200rpm

- Torque : 194N.m @ 4400rpm

HONDA STEPWAGON (NOT THE SPADA MODEL)

- Transmission : 4 speed AT

- 12.6km/l (base on 10.15mode)

- Horse Power : 155 PS @ 6000rpm

- Torque : 188N.m @ 4500rpm

Size wise is quite the same :

Saw Freed today. I would go for this car anytime. Very easy acess to third row, no need to shift here there up down. Take a look.

Thanks for your replies.

I like HONDA too. Driving a 04 civic now.

Just don't want to limit my options.

Toyoto Noah with the body kits look OK.

If only the Stepwagon is using CVT or a 5speed AT...

Bro Hondaman.

May I know which grade stepwagon you are driving? 8 seater or 7 seater? Got Auto rear sliding door?

Thanks.

I had considered Freed too.

Cheaper price, new technology engine, fuel economic...

But size is not as big as the 2L models.

If I have 8 passengers, boot space will be smaller compared to the 2L models.

i am driving the G model. I have a friend that is driving the B. Get the G model will be a better choice.

Passenger auto door. chair can adjust and much better interior compartments.

Is all 8 seater. If you change to captain seats then will be diff.

If you can get the stepwgn Spada....

you wont go wrong.....

But consumption is 8.8km/ltr..... i am a light footer and will always go for EFO mode....

Spada is out of budget. Would rather get the normal Stepwagon and maybe import the Modulo kits instead.

Bro Hondaman.

Does the G Model come with HID headlights and side mirror indicator?

Which PI did you buy from and how much?

Can PM me if not convenient.

Thanks.

Probably have to consider that some old MSCP height limit is 1.8m

The Toyota Noah height is 1.850m, and Honda Stepwagon is 1.770m

Thanks for pointing that out.

the noah is super huge inside!!! Can beat the estima anytime...only thing is the body roll i guess...so tall, yet so narrow...and based on the liteace chassis...so you are basically driving a van...

new honda's i-VTEC engine, not as refined as previous generation...dunno why...the Stepwagon is also smaller than noah...

why don't you also consider getting the Voxy??? same as noah, but with fiercer looks...
