anyone been there recently? any comments?

 

or do you have other recommendations for decently cheap and good stay?

 

am looking to do a 3night getaway in the region.. for a complete budget of 7-800

700-800 u can choose other better place le lor

 

went holiday inn..not bad..overall the room,surrounding etc..

 

can play fire works at the grass land opposite..walk further in got a few shop house.got a nice and cheap seafood facing the sea

 

Telunas Beach is another nice place with nice view

I recommend Holiday Inn. Probably the best on Batam.

 

I do not recommend Harris. Si bey jia lat. Worse than Downtown East.

hmm... how's the beach? how's the rooms? their website doesn't provide much information...

am likely to go to angsana resort in bintan instead. about 7-800.

 

any suggestions on how to get cheaper rates?

Eh.... Batam got sell fireworks ah??? Are they cheap? eg. what's the price for say a 5" mortar? or maybe those large stick rockets that explode into a shower?

 

That's an incentive to go. I simply love to play with fireworks.

how much not sure..but when i went for dinner and came back to walk to Holiday Inn, they are playing at the grass patch..

 

ya those shoot up and shower kind...see the way they played v funny..light up liao..run for life ..LOL

 

not sure how much but i saw selling at batam centre shopping mall outside the supermarket
