Nohnemwan 1st Gear April 7, 2009 Share April 7, 2009 Is something preventing you from Googling Pengarang? For starters, this is what you will find if you make the effort to help yourself: Description: http://arsonarsenic.wordpress.com/2008/12/...johor-malaysia/ Map: http://user.chollian.net/~hwayon/sing/johor.jpg

Ender Hypersonic April 7, 2009 Share April 7, 2009 I think take bumboat from Changi Village may be faster.
Hiphiphoray 6th Gear April 7, 2009 Share April 7, 2009 Its quite a long drive for a place so close to spore. I reckon its about 3 hrs drive. Like what Bro Ender says, its better to take a boat ride from Changi. I was in desaru 2 weeks back, drop by the Pengerang jetty for a look. Quite a lot of blue taxis there. Can take u to whatever place u want easily. As for driving directions, its pretty straight forward. Straight out of Jbee via tebrau highway, then look out for desaru right turn off about 30-45mins out of Jbee. Then comes a very long boring straight road all the way to Sg Renngit. Turn right and another longgggggggg straight drive to reach yr destination. These roads quite uneven and at nite there is no street lightings. No even light reflextors. Penty of both slow lorries and fast overtaking cars. So be carefull.
Singaporean1965 Neutral Newbie April 7, 2009 Share April 7, 2009 I been there before but not by driving. As some brothers have said, depending on what you want to do there, it might be more relaxing to take a boat there. I took a bunk boat from Changi Jetty (the same jetty going to Pulau Ubi). The boat ride is about an hour and if i remember correctly, it's about less than SGD$10 per pax per way. Anyway, there's nothing much to do there except to try out some seafood. Hope it helps.
