Thanks, that's a good advise.

I dont know if walkie talkies are considered banned objects and secrurity threat. But then it will be in checkin lugguage and not hand carry lugguage.

Ok, on the other hand, what if it is in hand carry lugguage? Is it allowed?

Neutral Newbie

We had a set confiscated at Bangkok airport last year. It was packed inside a colleagues luggage and was seen during random scan.

To bring in there's always a risk of being confiscated. Walkie Talkie bought in Singapore are restricted for use only in Singapore without license. Likewise, walkie talkie bought from overseas are not to be use in Singapore. This is by right.. There's still many in Singapore are by left and use export set from USA with longer range.
