Awesome = Yes

Overpriced = Yes

However, I will choose this anytime over the C70-T5... [;)]

Looks fantastic. Hope it's relatively affordable since VW chose to leave out 4WD etc.

It's around 115k quoted by PI for normal Scirocco. This R version will cost more. Defintely will not be cheap.

I thought I just saw this car on the road while driving home less than an hour ago on KJE. Lime green in colour. The lights were blinding me when it came from behind. Then when it overtook me, saw a P plate on the car bearing plate SJQ. I saw the VW logo but was like wth could tat car be. Now that I know its a Scirocco. Cool.... [thumbsup]

I think I saw a similar car. I was like...it looks like GTi but it is 2 door. Damn nice but probably outta my budget [sweatdrop]

As far as I've heard,

indicative prices by VGS

about 117.8 for 2.0 TSi

95.7 for 1.4TSI

before today's COE.

That's not too bad. But the 2.0 TSi isn't the R version is it?

I think the R version looks better, but it'll probably cost at least 140k if it ever reaches our shore.

That's the press car :)

I can't wait for the R hahaha. Hope it'll come. Sadly, don't think the TDI variant will hit our shores though.
