1.5 or 2.0 model? In terms of performance and features, there are a lot of difference.

Clutched

For this current batch of sylphy, how is the fuel comsumption like? (no hard feelings k) Nissan always seems to me a fuel drinker car.

The 1.5 is slightly under-power . the 2.0 is a better choice .

The rear pair absorber is kind of soft and tend to rub against the fender during hump when car is loaded.

However the 1.5 has the best interior among the same cc class car.

Hope this info can help you to decide your choice.

Hi,

I am driving a Sylphy 1.5L for the past 3 years. [drivingcar]

My experience with this car :

Performance - Comfortable saloon car, dun expect sporty performance (unless performance modification)

Pick- up - Good for me (can move off quite fast)

FC - Okay (approx. 510km on 40 litres, average 12.5km/litre)

Petrol - Prefered Shell 98

Comfort - Huge interior space, great for 5 adults

Boot - Real big, 2 golf bag and extra items

Suspension - a bit soft, good for rear passengers

Cooling - Air con is great (always set at 25c)

Tax - Cheap, only S$ 684 a year (pay 1.5l for a 2.0l comfort)

Remarks - Overall happy with this car, better if I chose 2.0l instead (more powerful)

Other Sylphy owners : please put in your feedback/ comments

2L sylphy is way more expensive than the 1.5L...its only a few K away from the cefiro/teana.

Not worth it imho.

E diff is now bigger, more reflective of e differences between e 2.

U shld go take a test drive and go inside the 1.5L cefiro and see for your self.

If you had done that, I would really like to know which 1.5L car has an interior and ride refinement that can beat the sylphy.

Hi,

I have viewed the new Teana but yet to test drive.

Interior finishing is good and comfortable (good for long distance travelling)

However, I believe that 2.5l is more suitable for this car (2.0l may have insufficient power for a spirited drive)

Between Sylphy and Teana, I will choose Teana due to its better finishing.

By the way, Nissan Saloon range has never been rated as a sporty or performance car but for its comfort and interior finishing.

Wat 1.5 L Cefiro?

As many mentioned 2.0L better option, then the spaciousness in this cc class is compromised.
