Wonder did the stall charge u cheaper without the meaty stuffs? If still same price they should be happy to sell u dao pok/dao kwa at the price of meat. Why black face?

ME! I TAKE WITHOUT MEAT. ONLY TAOPOK TAOGUA AND SOMETIMES EGGG.

Haha. Yes, yes, some ppl will frown, some are ok, some would laugh at you. Kopithiam at SGH will serve, but they charge at 'full' rate.

IMHO even if one doesn't eat the oysters, never ask for them to be excluded from fried oyster! [laugh] The taste is just different and not as nice without them.

I dont take pig organs too. I replace them with duck meat which is usually available in those stalls.

Sometimes if the pig's organs are not washed properly, it can be very digusting. <_<

Once I chewed upon a tuft of hairball while eating the small intestines, duuno what they fed the pig [sweatdrop]

[laugh] You just say you are a vegetarian lah. But some vegetarian food stall does sell Kway Chup but not on a regular/daily basis.

IMO it's true that it's pointless to eat kway chup with anything less. It will be like eating ice kachang without ice or laksa dry [laugh] . Imagine you order that, not only the hawker will give you black face but also think there's smth wrong with you or you are trying to be funny.
