They like to use their soft skin vehicle doors especially to protect them from assault rifles like M16, AK47 etc! Against M16 which is effective up to 400m away. No chance man. Not even those cops taking cover behind the 2 car doors. The aftermath was mayhem. Val Kilmer was so much younger those days. Great info here : http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Heat#FN_FNC-80 Pacino really looks cool running and shooting with that gun. M-16 looks like a pussy next to it.
