But an unfortunate incident leading up to the announcement of the new and improved scheme ↡ Advertisement
Darkblue 1st Gear September 1, 2009 Share September 1, 2009 LTA should instead think how come Google is so efficient ? Just 2 keywords "OPC LTA", the direct link came out... How it came out ?? I think seek Google directly for a more precise answer...

NightFox Neutral Newbie September 2, 2009 Share September 2, 2009 I don't get it....wats the big deal about it? Sooner or later the public will learn about it. If it's because of information being leaked resulting in a terrorist attack or Mas Selamat escaping from prison then run around naked in orchard road then fine.... Ok integrity of the reporters at the press conference are in question but how on earth is it considered unfortunate? The destruction in Taiwan due to the typhoon is unfortunate, not this. Especially the part on, "It also meant that Minister Lim did not have a biggish announcement" and "Mr Lim was gracious enough to agree to the embargo lift" What on earth is that supposed to mean? So are we supposed to go like WHOA VERY GOOD NEWS!!!! we should all rejoice upon hearing the changes to the OPC scheme.....lets 'pop' some champagne and go to the padang to celebrate. Gracious enough? I find that offending, so we should all kowtow to Mr Lim because he agreed to the embargo lift?!

Sgnick 1st Gear September 2, 2009 Share September 2, 2009 Someone internally from LTA already leaked the new e-coupon system all the way back in Feb in hardwarezone forum liao, so what the big deal.
Rickster 5th Gear September 2, 2009 Share September 2, 2009 Very true. Since the new opc scheme has already been approved, its only a matter who announces it and when it will be announced. No big deal. Besides, I believe there are many in LTA who would already have known about this new policy long ago liao.
