Goodbye Alfa; Hello Alfa

Thanx all :)

1) Wife's licence for manual but she's been driving auto since day 1.... so auto / semi-auto selespeed / DSG only. I also reckoned with the traffic jams, auto is still more practical.

2) I might convert it to OPC as I walk to work and spends a quarter of the year overseas

Very nice ride there!

Don't bother to convert OPC man.

The savings is only a fraction of your car price anyway.

Can't help feeling that "red plate" is less prestigious.

*Don't flame me for this.

I hardly use the car anyway. Money is money -- face has no monetary value IMHO.

Even with my previous OPC alfa, I hardly used coupons -- about once a week the most?

OPC-wise the car already costs more than the usual normal plates.

it's a 3.2 V6, auto. almost 2 yr old and the price was right...

Man, u really love your wife, got such a beautiful ride for her ..

Is maintence a concern ..coz .. many drivers scared of ley chyeness when it comes to cars... care to share about owning ur ride for 5 yrs the servicing, kinks, etc?

dont get me wrong not implying alfa not realiable... but hearsay a fair bit...wish to hear from fellow aflist ... still aiming the 159 normal autogear to arrive [inlove]

I guess an alfa is like a mistress

Some men yearn to own one ,but are afraid of tricky issues later on

And it really is not easy to get rid of; usually done with huge amt of money
