Observer 4th Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 Greetings Everyone, Currently considering either Santa Fe or CX-7... Santa Fe's 7 seater is a good plus point for long haul trips to Msia whilst CX-7's turbo is something I would like to experience. Any other recommendations? ↡ Advertisement

RadX Moderator October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 Greetings Everyone, Currently considering either Santa Fe or CX-7... Santa Fe's 7 seater is a good plus point for long haul trips to Msia whilst CX-7's turbo is something I would like to experience. Any other recommendations? Have the CX-7 for a yr and a half now. Getting about 8 to be conservative on pussy foot. What I love abt the ride is it is power when you want. The trubo kicks in instantenously and no lag that I can feel. Am able to gun and overtake with great ease considering this is almost a 2-tonne monster. Go try it out and you will understand.
Alfisti168 1st Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 If you want Santa Fe uu should wait for the test drive of the 2.4 model. That one comes with 6 speeds, will give better FC. must wait for xiaoming bro to tell us when the Santa is ready.
Sgnick 1st Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 (edited) Volvo XC90 is good but price is also "good". So is BMW X5. For something cheaper than above but relatively good interior there is the Subaru Tribeca, comes with 6 airbags and electric seats for both front driver and passenger. Alfisti168 1st Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 (edited) XC90 damn heavy. FC sure jialat seems like everyone's offering alternatives eh? If you don't mind, let me rub in more alternatives: 1. Outlander (but the 3rd row seats are a joke) 2. If you don't mind PI, Toyota Vanguard. Very well-equipped. Got hill-descent, "slope-start" function, HID headlamps, cruise ctrl, everything 3. Kia Sorento is arriving in December. Sgnick 1st Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 XC90 damn heavy. FC sure jialat XC90 is not for the budget conscious anyway, so bad FC won't matter to the buyer. Probably safety and road presence is more important for XC90 owners
