That is different from Aspec DB....

==========

Yes. Good grip in wet/dry.

Not a comfort tire but I do find it very quiet though. Wears slightly fast but not a problem for me cos my mileage is low.

They r made in Phillipines but they r good for the price. [thumbsup]

The older ES500 (Aspec DB) was scary but not its replacement the ES501 (DNA DB). I am on my 3rd set of DNA DBs and not a single incident of losing control of car in the wet. Yes it is no performance tyre but it is not going to play out anyone who drives sanely.

I hope people will stop assuming that once bad in the wet means all subsequent replacements will also be bad.

I just changed to ES501(DNA DB) also.

Can help advise on the tyre pressure?

My ride Altis recom tyre press is 210.. so with the new tyres, still stick to 210, or need to change pressure to suit yoko tyres?

thanks.

go like 220-235 more comfy better fc yet not compromising the handling

(edited)

best comfort /quiet tyre? are you considering the road holding as well.

the next tyre propably michlin LC or bridgestone gr 90 but perpare to pay a premium but still affortable [flowerface]

[bounce2]

am on michelin primacy LC for 1 mth, selling it as i'm changing ride. 195/65R15. tyre is manufactured in Q4'2009. will accept all reasonable offers. i bot them for $600. sms or pm me. nine 87 triple8 32

for those who are uninitiated, michelin has one of the best combi of grip+quietness.. very soft and comfortable is my verdict. quiet is without doubt. grip is good too. only downside is the price.

I drive altis too, using tire size 195/60R15, i pump 260 for front 250 for back .

feeling cornering much better and pick-up faster...

not sure is this the suitable tire pressure?
