Wind30 Turbocharged March 8, 2010 Share March 8, 2010 Bought my Osim iEcologi few years back at ard $2800...served me well over the years and its really useful as its able to vacuum, steam, purify air etc. It really depends on individual needs... errr... we also bought that. really useless for us. The setup and washing time is soo troublesome that my wife don't want to use it. (she wanted to buy it one...) Too heavy, and hard to clean after than. Many spare parts, must clean, must dry before packing. Used 3 times I think....
Nemo6089 1st Gear March 8, 2010 Share March 8, 2010 I would if it could clean the house, empty the dirt itself, clean itself, do not consume electricity and last for my life time.
Stars1 Neutral Newbie June 2, 2010 Share June 2, 2010 Guys...salesman try to sell this Rainbow vacuum cleaner for $3,400. Promise to pick up dirt like nothing before from any surface and cleans your air better than any air purifier out there. Take a look : http://www.rainbowsystem.com/rainbowsystem/main/?lg=english I personally think it's ridiculous to pay $3.4k for a vacuum cleaner but what do you think? Would you pay for one? I will never cost so much money just for a vacuum cleaner. Mine just cost me about 20 dollars. Still works great.

Hoppie24 1st Gear June 3, 2010 Share June 3, 2010 mai siao leh, you compare Rolex to Casio?!?!?!!? The material use in making a Rolex is much more than a Casio and thus the price difference. This is subjective also, depends on what was use to build the item and also the R&D involve, some things are produced cheap but try to sell Ex, that is call Stupid. Hoppie24 1st Gear June 3, 2010 Share June 3, 2010 Hmm............for me i seen the rainbow demo too at my house, i din bought it becuz no budget, it's a good idea to use water as the filter becuz you wont be "pushing" out micro dust when you vacuuming everytime using filter base vacuum. But looking at the design and technology, it seems way overdue to worth $3.4k, the current batch of vacuum should be light and more advance to make it's worth of $3.4k, look at Dyson you will know why it cost so much. BTW, i can't afford a Dyson too, i find it too ex for a Vacuum, in the end i bought a $300 Karcher Vacuum cleaner, thought it's industrial grade to last longer :) not sure how true. Before buying the Karcher, i also hand carry back a iRobot from US which cost me about $400, nowadays the iRobot seems to be helping out more than the Karcher :) too lazy to vacuum, only use the Karcher on those iRobot cannot reach areas hehe........ But ironically, i use the Karcher to clean the iRobot hahahahha
Chrispie 5th Gear June 3, 2010 Share June 3, 2010 my dad actually bot one of those in the 80's... i rem it was about 2.7k then.. dont know if its good, but the water in the VC got REALLY dirty after the guy used it on one of our sofa... though expensive, it works well lah.. Krado Clutched June 3, 2010 Share June 3, 2010 I personally think it's ridiculous to pay $3.4k for a vacuum cleaner but what do you think? Would you pay for one? I think it's ridiculous to pay $1,000,000 for a car that has 3 less seats than my $32,000 ride. Then again, you can bring it out to show off. I don't think I've ever met anyone who does that with a vacuum cleaner. ↡ Advertisement
