Seems tempting, but to each his own. Its altogether a different lifestyle, furthermore, go and become second grade citizen.

If you don't know what you are talking about shut the f--k up

This is old news....they have been trying to recruit Singaporeans of all professional fields for a very long time already.

But few Singaporeans wanna go, and those that went, many came back after a while.

How many Singaporeans can really adjust to life in NZ?

To really fit in, u must:

1) Love the outdoors and hate shopping centres.

2) Love to stay home n drink beer and have barbee...because most shops close by 5pm

3) Love to be alone....your neighbour is a 5 min drive away

4) Cinema? What's that? Give me trout fishing/ deer hunting any time.

5) Online games? We prefer a game of rugby thank you.

Their lifestyle is TOTALLY different from Singaporeans. Even those in the city, they're basically country-people who are forced to live in the city for a while. I have distant relatives in NZ, and I've been to NZ a few times. Great for a holiday, but most Singaporeans, I doubt they will be happy living there for long.

if you are saying that, then what's with the londoners and new yorkers. aren't they all facing the same problems that we are complaining about?

have you tried the fast food in america??

it's not halal, so it tastes really good!!

the portion they give also really huge...and priced around US$7 for a meal...

i guess it's the same in NZ too...and frankly, i wouldn't miss the oily and fatty local delights...

i'd rather cook my own meals wherever i go...it's healthier, and more economical too...

you'll feel like you're missing local food because of the monotonous availability of food in western countries...only fast food and steak available...

I just Clicked on the EMPLOYMENT link and got the following:

Database error: cannot connect to Database Too many connections

MySQL Error

Session halted.

Looks like lots of 2nd class citizens want out... *stifling laughter & sniggers*

Learn how to speak english then.

One sentence say "Go to NZ and be second class"

Next sentence say that people that look at the site are second class...

WTF?

But I tell you one thing right now, PR in NZ is treated far far better than PR are treated here.

Let me ask: Are you speaking on behalf of yourself or the majority of the population?

The reasons I cited London and New York is because of the cosmopolitan makeup that Singapore will or has already become.

If bitching on forum is the solution to a problem, fine, go ahead. Its your choice.

All that I am saying is you think who you are based on your own mindset.
