Hello Guys,

Well my current car COE is expiring very soon and had sat in a Crown Royal before and satisfied

The population of the car here is not as much as lets say Malaysia, Indonesia or China.

I wonder what is the current market price for this unit?

I hope its still in pristine condition.

I might take a look at the car perhaps later on during the week.

Haha maybe some of u think its similar to a Taxi.

I not sure about market price, though the price of the used unit in ur link is quite reasonable... but one thing i know is that the rear can only sit 2 strictly -- the hump intrudes almost vulgarly into your space if you sit in the middle.

If this isn't a problem for you, why not buy the GS300 instead? More common, hence body panels will be more easily available if you have an accident (choy but just in case).

One of our cousin owns the GS300, I guess it share the same platform. GS300 has a bit harsher suspension

It was just random that i saw this kind of car. ES300 has different platform as it is FWD and shared its platform with Camry.

Either way i thought the rear supposed to be spacious. Just wondering how do you calculate the used car value for this?

i remember BM was selling the Royal Crown for around $210,000???

being a 3yr old car, i reckon the asking price of $102,888 seems to be a good deal...

especially at current COE prices...

you're not considering other cars???

Nissan Fuga (PI) or 5-series, E-Class???

Considering a 2005 LS430 but road tax is a killer.

Nissan Fuga havent look for. No Honda Legends so far or even Infinitis.

Well i thought the Crown would be easier to maintain than other conti's and last longer i think.

haha...

i also guess you'd be considering the LS430...since both cars really look alike...

so it's only 2nd hand cars for you???

why don't you consider the new 2010 Royal Crown too???

the looks is fiercier, more nicer too!!!

cheers!!

Haha BM doesnt offer the 2010 Crown (Overbudget too). I thought used car depreciates less. But not sure with the rare Toyota Crown.

I regularly travels to KL, so ... sometimes having that little extra power ... means something. "WINK"

Haha enough larr for me. Moreover got 180 kmh defencer cut

Haha ohh okay. Was about to say about the GS300's ventilated seats which ensures your testes are cool and comfortable during the journey... but the crown royal is still not a bad choice. Do test drive both before you make your decision bah.

well,

i get what you mean...

the Royal Crown is a good cruiser...

the 3.0L V6 engine will be more relax than a 4-cylinder engine doing the job for longer distance too...

better buy it now...

or else the price will probably increase!!!

Depreciation about $10K per year for next 7 years, really worth buying.

The Royal Crown is a really solid and reliable car. Extremely quiet too. Used the old model for a few years - absolutely no problem till it was robbed away.

Was considering this car too .... but bought something else liao

Supersonic

Hmm, pretty curious as to why they didn't move this over to the Lexus division instead of keeping it with the toyota brand.
