Started with some noise coming from the engine bay, it gets pretty loud especially during cold starts.

Is it a common problem with our TCT? What's the damage?

Fortunately this is not a common problem, i have checked with oversea forum and it is practically unheard of.

 

No damage to pocket and no loss of use, that is the beauty of leasing

I see...I better start putting aside some money monthly for eventual servicing...

yes and no, drop by and pay them a visit. but not in the morning, busiest and usually crankiest

 

try after lunch. 

 

diagnostics is only half the check up. if car is not in best of health, sometimes need to open up to find out.

depends on traffic type, and climate.

 

a lot of rush rush owners set the car to Dynamic mode and leave it there.

 

And a lot of rush hour traffic or heavy start stop traffic home.

 

I suggest leaving it in Normal mode unless you have free roads to use Dynamic.

Did anyone notice the black soot around your exhaust tip? seems to be a common observation of all G. Is this because the AFR is rich? anyone measured what is our AFR?

Yes I do...and I'm not so worried with it. Better than being too lean.
