kykh Supercharged July 5, 2018 Share July 5, 2018 once the application is processed. within the day how long does the bank take to process a cashier's order dropped into the cheque box ar? Cos i dropped yest noon time, not reflected now yet. Since you deposited the cheque before the cut-off time yesterday, the bank should clear the cheque by 2pm today and your fixed deposit placement should be activated before the end of business day, otherwise you should call the bank to check on the status.

How is starsaver? 0.8% p.a sounds decent, since >50k, the fastsaver drops to 0.6%. Looking at a few other stuff like Stash etc, seems too troublesome for me. Decent payout for my liquid funds and i use fast to transfer funds to my DBS account for their across the island ATM network. Sibor is much higher, local banks are paying peanuts on their saving accounts. Can open both accounts if you want to maximize your return.
