in the good old years (80s) when Saints mostly took home every single cup there was in Rugby in every single division there was, we never had such ungentlemanly conduct

As I recall, scores were usually of the following:-

SAS 60 : ACS 3

SAS 42 : Dunman 15

SAS 72 : Victoria 3

SAS 15 : RI 3

I guess nowadays we cant do it on the rugby pitch anymore.

Maybe Saints should get back into boxing in a bigger way, at least it's official to punch someone in the face.

Lives are in a making here, hearts are in a waking here. mighty under taking here, Up and On!

Some teens don't know how to managed their emotion, especially when rival schools meet in such a highly charged game.

I was in rugby during my teens & it was not unheard of players had their 'balls' squeezed, limp stomped, etc... Teens players sometimes get too much into the game & failed to see the larger picture eg. Sportsmanship, etc. They played in a manner as if their lives depend on it; a life and death situation. Many of us sort of prepared to be unabled to bear kids, but luckily for most of us, we are now fathers. A few were not so fortunate, a heavy price to pay for ECA.

Is SAS still offer boxing as CCA? I used to know this old man who was a Saint boxer in the 40's.

before i left...which was prob abt 10yrs ago, we still had our yearly boxing day on national day eve. Not sure whether it was a CCA though.

I was from St. Andrews. But somehow I aint proud. Harry Tan wasnt a role model principal.

He was a bit eccentric somewhat but he's a good guy, dude.

Those American Cxxx Suckers ( ACS ) boys better wake up their idea and stop thinking they can go around walloping anyone. They meet those real gangsters from neighbourhood schools they will cry mummy cry daddy already.

Neutral Newbie

I remember back then old Hare made 2 boys caught in the toilet for fighting duke in out in the boxing ring during the traditional National Day celebration fight. Buggers really went at it and came out of it all bloodied and all. Now thats really a fight! [laugh]

Really brings back all the old memories.
