Today is the first time to be there.

nice experience.

look for Mazda 3, lancer GLX, Vios, Honda City, Impreza, somemore Honda Civic 1.6.

gather the advices from sales man and with my own perception on the above car models.

cost of maintenance for Impreza is pretty high. not suitable for family used.

Mazda 3 pick up very slow but very stable in high speed drive.

Lancer GLX offer a good price, but interior and ex. so so only.

Honda City, very less in market. y y y y???

Honda civic 1.6L, out of my budget, but overall is suit to my requirement. haiz....

and advice??

Are you a first time car owner?

Given the below, I would choice Old Face Lift MZ3, follow by either Civic 1.6 or Impreza or City.

Will not consider Lancer, Vios as firstly, drove the lancer before and I don't like it. Vios, too skinny for my liking.

I had only driven old MZ3, under power but you have a European feel to it.

Furthermore, it is the smallest Jap Sedan to "pass off" as an executive car.

Civic whichever model is good but if that it is FD model, 1.6 is seriously underpower too and well over your budget.

So I assume you are referring to the late model which the car is light, got power and quite nice to drive.

Impreza, just afraid people say I am Wrx wannabe...

City, good car but depending on which year.... If it is not the current model, I will not choice it as too skinny for my liking.

Toyota Vios

Made in Thailand

Low Maintenance

Low fuel Consumption

Very nice to zhng

Powerful in it's class of 1500CC car

Rear passenger got very pathetic legroom (for the previous model, 2006 and earlier model)

Boot space also pathetic (for the previous model, 2006 and earlier model)

Honda City

Made in Thailand

Overpriced

Low fuel Consumption

Boring CVT

VTEC - too expensive for a Thai made car

iDsi - too slow for a 1500CC car

Considered relatively spacious for Rear passenger

Boot space IIRC quite reasonable for a 1500CC car

Lancer GLX

Made in Japan

Reasonably priced

Boring CVT, no power

Considered relatively spacious for Rear passenger

Boot space IIRC quite reasonable for a 1500CC car

Subaru Imprezza

Made in Japan

Comfortable in the long run

Stable (I think so)

Super underpowered (I swear by this)

Super High Fuel Consumption

Rear passenger space quite reasonable

The 1600CC and 1500CC are getting more and more uncommon on the road. Don't you realize?

Motor Image have got no image because they like to do low class advertisement to condemn other brands like VW

Mazda 3

Made in Japan

Comfortable in the long run

Stable

Underpowered

Rear passenger also don't have much comfortable space to sit really comfortably

Super High Fuel Consumption

Honda Civic 1.6

Made in Japan

Comfortable

Stable

Underpowered as claimed by many - i drove it before i find it quite ok lei.

Pathetic fuel Consumption

It's a Civic. Need not more introduction ;)

first, thanks for the comments.

Vios, if the price is reasonable, is it a good choice for me even i knw it is pretty skinny.

Civic, even is underpower, but overall design is very nice.

Lancer glx, the price is in my budget and easy to be a first car owner.

Hi SongCheng,

I'm selling my lancer glx registered Jul'05. Car in VERY good condition. Although it's a basic version but headlight and taillight are both sports version. Interior is grey and exterior paintwork in excellent condition.

Looking at $27888(neg) to sell off. Reason for selling is due to upgrading.
