oh ya, did anyone watched the man utd vs tottenham match? why that goal is allowed?

Nani fell and handed the ball. As Spurs had the ball, the refree wave play-on so as not to drag the time for a free kick. No whistle was brown but the goalkeeper thought that a free kick was awarded and just place the ball in front of Nani to kick it in. Blame it on the fans as they are the ones whistling from the stands .......

 

Almost the same as when Torres run to intercept a free kick when the defenders after placing the ball, kick softly back to the goalkeeper. His argument is that he was placing the ball for goalkeeper to kick but the ball was stationary when it was kick. So it is consider as the play begin ......
