Supercharged

Boil guava leaves in water till liquid is colour of dilute teh-O. Rinse arms with liquid. I get it sometimes, too, when I sleep on bare parquet floor (think the lacquer or varnish triggers it).

Went to a specialist? National Skin Center should be able to help you, although waiting time for appointments is horrendous.

Hi, it is better that you have the condition properly diagnosed by a dermatologist if you have not done so. Misdiagnosis is very common. I went to have a recent consultation. All in all, three doctors gave me their professional opinion. The GP which i went to firstly said it was a case of folliculitis. The treatment regimen he prescribed didn't work. I was losing sleep and it was wrecking me up with the helluva itch. Then 3 nights later i couldn't take it any longer and i went to the A&E at KTPH in the wee hours. The resident there said it was a fungi infection. He however gave me a referral to the dermatologist also at KTPH. I saw him yesterday, he confirmed that it was actually eczema i.e. actopic dermatitis.

So better get it properly diagnosed. The indications and symptoms are so similar even medical professionals can be wrong let alone us.

Went there before but not of your kind something similar, itchy and rashes whole body and feeling breathing difficulty, no result said probably dues to food allergic or contact. So when the symptom arises I have to take a pill (allergic)to stop it daily for half yr. So give up and went to consult a chinese physician at people park centre (2nd level - Dr Yang (TCM)after follow his medication for 2mths now gone and normal and good already for half yr.

Sometimes for skin condition, you might be surprised that most western doctors tell you that it's triggered by your own immune system, and therefore no cure. But chinese TCM can help. I had this experience after coming down with a reddish rash on returning here after a long overseas stay in cold winter. Western doctor just give anti-allergy medicine to reduce itch. But TCM diagnose as over-heaty and after taking 2 weeks of the medication, it cured.

However, chinese TCM cure almost never works fast - not like western medicine. Need to be patient and sometimes need weeks or more of regular medicine-taking.
