Well, if you have no teeth, no need to spend money.

Still better to have some to spend on. [laugh]

Best is to avoid dentures. Getting dentures fitted is lagi Marfan.

Yes you are right, the heads are interchangeable across the sonicare range. Just like how oralB heads are interchangeable within the oralB range.

As for which model, it is very subjective depending on your buying style. Some prefer to take baby steps, just buy an entry model to try first while some prefer to go all out for the top model to dive into the widest selection of functions and technologies. And some will take the middle road for a safer bet.

My take is whatever you choose, you will not go too far wrong with sonicare or oral B for that matter.

So am I right to say the above will fit any Philip electric brush model?? Or specific brush for specific model like shaver??

Thinking of ordering from Amazon Prime? Still not sure whcih model?? HX8911 + HX9003??

Diamondclean series.  [thumbsup]

The price you buy is a very good price. Almost the same as my Black Friday deal plus shipping.

As what @ins1dious reviewed (same as mine), we are both pretty happy users of this model.

I am cautiously optimistic that you will not regret it. Do feed back here about your experience with the model.

Go search philips official video on how to use the Sonicare type toothbrush for 1st time user even if they have experience with oralB type.

HX8331 is the latest upgraded model?

Make sure you get the pink model.

That's the upgraded one and doesn't jam.

The first one I bought in UK, the one that jammed, cost me S$85.  As I said I had it replaced 4 or 5 times and then got upgraded to the Pink Model all FOC.

Wouldn't have happened in Singapore.  And it's like I always say on here we get stiffed on price for eveything.

Eventually you are likely to use only one mode, i.e. The most powerful mode. That's why I go for the cheaper model that is spec at 31,000 mov/min, coz I won't use any of those special modes.

I am using the hx8911 too. Qoo10 is around $129. But if you wait for the $20 off $100 coupon, will be $109. Bit it's export set from korea.

Just checked the box my flosser came in.

No mention anywhere of model number.

It just says 'Airfloss Pro Pink Edition'

Is using electric toothbrush helpful for people with sensitive teeth ?

Can say i have sensitive teeth, since my gum has receeded.

I use oral B electric toothbrush all the time, and don't have problem with it causing pain to the teeth.

I guess it can't be very helpful, but it does not make things worse.

Maybe choosing the right toothpaste is more important.

Thanks!

Yeah about right. From my further googling,

HX8340 is the white version main unit

HX8350 is the pink version main unit

HX8331 is the whole set of white including 1 head and charger

HX8341 is the whole set of pink including 1 head and charger

Philip's own mind boggling model naming convention.

It's HX8350

Had to get my magnifying glass out to read it.

Made in Mexico.

Send in the warranty card, keep your copy and the receipt. You will need it.  I bought one, broke down within a year. Philips gave me a new one. Another 9 months later, second one also broke. This time warranty over, and cost to repair as good as buy new one. It was good while it worked though.

Nowadays, I am back to low end manual toothbrush, flossing, and oil-pulling with extra virgin coconut oil. Oil pulling is highly recommended to battle under gum bacteria.
