Kayaloti 2nd Gear November 26, 2010 Share November 26, 2010 (edited) Just change to this tires from Toyo T1R. This Dunlop tires are better in noise compare with T1R on dry road. Dry grip is good but I can still feel it might give way, T1R are better grip but soft sidewall. Wet grip T1R are way better then the Dunlop, I can confidently cut through water anytime and conditions without worry that it will give way. T1R are less noise in wet compare to Dunlop. Other then that, no other comments. Oh, T1R are noisy after 20-30k. If I have the choice again, I'll go back to T1R. Hope this helps. Zyrofillica 1st Gear November 13, 2011 Share November 13, 2011 dz101 wat size? Different sizes sure got different reviews. thin sidewall vs thick side wall comparisons is a world apart.
Beregond Supersonic November 14, 2011 Share November 14, 2011 dz101 is the most basic performance tyres from dunlop. it popular only because it mij, and it cheap for a mij tyre. if u like dunlop perfromance tyres, should check out sport maxx TT or GT. KoseiWish 1st Gear November 24, 2011 Share November 24, 2011 (edited) I prefer the DZ101 then V12...as Dz got hard wall and V12 got soft wall.. Dz good in cornering and dont shake much with the hard wall and maintaining the pressure at all weather condition..cut water in rain..cheaper for performance tyre.. V12 shake too much during hard cornering and soft compound can last to about 20k for performance and 20k normal driving..total 40k to changing time.. Still on DZ101 215/45/17.. Trdsilverknight Neutral Newbie November 24, 2011 Share November 24, 2011 Just changed from RE001 to dz101 after convinced by the Uncle at the tyre shop that actually dz101 is as good. made in japan, sidewall strong and can cut water easily, value for $$. So far so good, not too noisy, good for cornering but still feel more confident in the wet with RE001. cannot explain why, just the 'feel' Hope this review helps
