TV is definitely more exciting and stylo than real Immigration work.... Somehow when mention ICA, i have this impression of long waiting times at ICA building ...and a feeling of apprehension because after chop passport at checkpoint, must pass through the fuel level check. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]:D :D :D

Just pump 3/4 tank first lor . . . looks like you may also have a feeling of apprehension after passing the immigration counters when U return since you need to undergo customs checks by the ICA officers too . . .

Neutral Newbie

The actors really don't sound local. I hate it in local shows when the actors don't sound like speaking Singlish or at least English with Singapore accent.

singapore shows always fail one la. Since when do real billionaires look like real billionaires and crooks like real life crooks? So is it any coincident that ICA officers dont look like themselves? [laugh]

Will they be showing Mas Selamat or Ah Hao case? [laugh]

Yah man, cannot just show those cases they solved. Must be objective & fair also, show those where mistakes were made, like the above 2 examples & how to learn from the mistakes. However, unlikely Mediacorpse would show these (show only the good stuff)

Turbocharged

Ch5 shows are much better than ch8 dramas in EVERY aspect....they come a long way since "VRman" and "Masters of the Sea". The effort is there and you can see it. If you just watch 1 episode of ch5 drama you'll be wondering "WTF is ch8 doing?? Tot they are from the same coy??"

The plot, the cinemotography, the acting, the research done to the issues involved....it's more convincing and more entertaining.

I find english dramas like "The Pupil" and "Fighting Spiders" pretty good. Also feel very singaporean with good mix of multiracial casts.

ch8 dramas.......sigh the plot really treat us like idiots, as long as you can guess the ridicuous plotline and even the dialogue, it's epic fail! No wonder so many actress/actors left. I suspect they employ fresh FTs to write those cliche plot and scripts.....no to mention the redtape from MDA.

Hope "Point of entry" is as good as the rest of the 5 series.
