ZC Swift/Swift Sport Random Chit Chat Thread

Hi,

Inspired by the mega Alfa thread on MCF, so I am starting a thread for those interested to talk about their ZC generation Swifts or any related/unrelated stuff.

I know there are a few ZC owners here, like Lucaswh & BBSyah. Please pop right in and chip in with all your knowledge/nonsense!

As an introduction, I am driving a MY2010 Swift 1.6M (ZC31) in Pearl White. Registered as an OPC and took delivery on 12/12/10. So far no mods, except for some lights for vanity reasons. [laugh] Been enjoying the drive but the hard part is keeping the RPM below 4k for this run-in period and getting used to a NA manual! [laugh]

Lets see where this thread goes, shall we?

Yo bro I'm driving an 08 zc31 but mine is an auto ride. Haven't do any major mod yet as I'm happy with the car as it is. Only one significant change is that the prev owner installed the b-screw air intake. Maybe after my 20k servicing den I'll add KNN drop in filter n titanium exhaust tip. Love to hear from fellow 'swifters' here.

Thanks bro for starting this thread.

Hello. Welcome welcome!

Next poison on my list is probably bcrews airbox with drop in filter though I will probably pass on the intake. Maybe next year's Bday present to myself. [laugh]

Another alternative is the Project S big tummy intake with open pod which appears to be still in experimental phase. But I think the price will be too much for me to bear. [bigcry]

Nice to know you too! The SSS paint is striking ain't it? Almost went for it but I heard it is even harder to maintain compared to pearl white. [laugh]

Hello Edwin,

Looks like you are the guru here for poisons eh?

So how is the difference with using 15inch rims? Is there a big gap in yr wheel arch now?

Pearl white is hard too. Will be trying to get some sealant on my car this weekend. Before it is too late!

Seems like the workmanship for your sticker is good!

Maybe when the end of year madness is over, I shall get the contact from you to wrap my side skirts and front lip in CF. [laugh]

The difference btw 15 and 16 is pick up and fc is better . For 16 inch i can only get 430 to 450 for 38L but for 15 i can get ard 480km . Oh i forget to add i got ohlin suspension so i lower down my ride . For front is 2 finger and rear 3 finger . Also for handling i got Project S lower front 2 point , fender bar , rear top struct and rear anti roll bar . Momo steering wheel , short shifter and also suzuki lower clutch pedal .

I'm driving a ZC31AT, bought in early 2009, still in stock condition haha. The handling is shiok and never fails to bring a smile whenever I drive it. Onli two things bother me after close to 2 years of ownership. firstly, my FC is terrible, averaging 10.5km/l and secondly, I wish I'd bought the MT version instead. Nonetheless, with COE prices heading north recently, having a car is better than no car!
