Kxbc Turbocharged December 29, 2010 Share December 29, 2010 I just changed my tyres at Tan Chong in jul 10. same profile i think but i cannot remember which brand offhand. $80 per piece ex gst only. i think damn cheap liao. wanted GR90 but expensive @ $130. not bad grip in wet weather and fairly ok noise too. Kiadaw 6th Gear December 29, 2010 Share December 29, 2010 (edited) I just changed my tyres at Tan Chong in jul 10. same profile i think but i cannot remember which brand offhand. $80 per piece ex gst only. i think damn cheap liao. wanted GR90 but expensive @ $130. not bad grip in wet weather and fairly ok noise too. I was quoted $496 per piece for Continental SCC3 at Stamford today... My first choice tires Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec was quote $360 per piece......at another shop. Also given a cheaper alternative, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric (Summer...I think) at $300 per piece. My wheel size is 235/40/18. i will be happy for a good set of sub $200 (per piece) set of tires, that can do well on street & track. Actually my friend also recommend me a Taiwan brand Federal ss at $190. But no experience with Taiwan tires.
