Hello Bro n Sis

Has anyone got a portable fuel tank?

I read that Autobacs are selling portable fuel tanks in sizes of 5L, 10L and even 20L.

What is the ruling bringing fuel tank to JB and back ?

Thanks for you opinion

Customs

Customs Regulations for Accompanying Luggage

Accompanied luggage brought in by the Games clients for Singapore 2010 is subject to the following custom regulations set by Singapore Customs and the relevant controlling agencies.

ICA is primarily responsible for the security of Singapore's borders against entry of undesirable persons, cargoes and conveyances by land, air and sea. For more information about ICA, please visit their website at www.ica.gov.sg.

Singapore Customs officers are stationed at the following major checkpoints:

1.Singapore Changi Airport

2.Woodlands Checkpoint

3.Tuas Checkpoint

4.Singapore Cruise Centre

5.Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal

Games clients who require customs services or need to pay duty and/or Goods and Services Tax (GST) on their goods may proceed directly to the customs duty office at the checkpoint. If in doubt, Games clients should enquire with the ICA officer at the Red Channel.

My ex-colleague used to buy from our M'sian colleagues.

They'll pump the petrol out from their bikes.

Supercharged

actually i don't feel its safe to bring back fuel... i did try that before...

first, the petrol will evaporate... so if you bring back 20L, by the time you use it.

it may not be tat much, probably 17l?

i tried keeping it in a cooler place but still don't really works much...

plus i had a hard time finding the long funnel to pour them into my gas tank..

end of the day, a failed project.

not to mention, it's dangerous... i don't wish to burn my flat down...

i would not want to take the risk just for saving a few bucks .. not to mention that this will endanger the lives of not just your loved ones also others around you etc.. neighbours or other car owners :)

defintely not worth it and a stupid act

You may win big at the two casinoes, so do not gamble at the two Checkpoints

Bring extra fuel other than in the car tank is subject to taxes, not worth it.

You got the point. You are right. It is smuggling if he does not declare the fuel transporting. His car is also not licenced/insured to petrol for commercial purposes. His car can be confisticated for smuggling (COE not cheap even if his car is cheap)
