Can u please get your facts right before giving false advice? Wish is only assembled in Japan or Taiwan, unless you are saying BM is importing a left hand drive version from Taiwan to sell in Sg?

 

Doesn't harm whoever is buying from verifying upon receiving right?

Make sure u have it in black n white that what u ordered is made in Japan and u have the right to reject if otherwise.

When u receive the car, check the chasis number to verify.

 

At the end of the day, there is no reason why suddenly they are able to provide a big discount.

Maybe BM wanted to clear stock so provide discount.

The 107+ version is made in Thailand or Indonesia. The 112k+ is the made in Japan versio

 

Yes it doesn't harm whoever is buying from verifying upon receiving, however you are making a statement in your above quote that the 107+ version is made in Thailand or Indonesia, which is incorrect.

I have went to checked and you are correct. Wish is currently made in Japan or Taiwan.

Anyone know how to add a reverse camera to the standard head unit? Heard that the head unit connector is special so cannot use common reverse camera.

 

Don't understand what u mean by "cannot use common reverse camera".

I am driving standard wish and added a reverse camera(paid $150) to the standard head unit at Toa Payoh.

Sorry guys. My mistake. The unit I am selling was not from the Elegance model. Is a standard set. Letting only $250 firm

Hi guy. This unit can connect reverse camera. Just have to change one of the socket. $250 include the additional socket for reverse camera. Interested can text me for picture of the socket. 8168-8844 Edited by WishRAV4wish

Yes, the connector of standard HU is notmatch with aftermarket reverse camera connector. The converter cable cn be found from taobao.com. it is jist about sgd2+. Not sure if it is allow to post the taobao link here. So I just pmed you the link. With the convertor cable, I also installed a reverse camera at $150.

107 is the nett selling price while 112 is the listed price.

So, have you book your ?

BM wish is make in Japan but different plant from the PI.

All gen2 wish are made in Tahara plant...the same plant where LF-A was born.

Because it's says...The plant also serves as a support location for various Toyota assembly locations internationally."

They have to convert the language or wording to English and also some setting which differ from Japan.

Hi all,

anybody knows if we can disable the passenger side air bag. Sometime I put child car seat there, thought is not so safe to have air bag there. thanks.

This is indeed puzzling.

 

According to another English-language page showing production status since 1966, Wish isn't in the list, although it indicates various support it provide for Toyota's international factories provided by Takaoka Plant.

There should be a switch at the pax side - need the key to toggle.

 

Speaking of pax-side SRS, there was recall in Sep by BM:
