For mit cvt, it wa normally specified to use Mit Diaqueen SP3 ATF, instead of those cvt fluid which nissan, toyota n honda cvt cars specified. Anyway for other jap car makers, their own brand ATF got non cvt, for cvt, got 2 or 3 diff grades. For mitsubitshi brand i have only seen Diaqueen SPIII, have not come across any Diaqueen Cvt before. The manual also specify Dizqueen SP3. Just stick to what your car manual states....

oh, mine is a auto, just that not sure if it's cvt or the normal 4 speed auto... so for either case I only need to use Mitsubishi Diaqueen III? No need for cvt transmission fluid?

Somebody answered your earlier query already [:p]

no wondering you are confused. I guess its meaning either one can be used. My wife's Colt Plus is also using CVT gearbox, but manual only states Diaqueen SPIII.

Anyway i have not come across Diaqueen CVT Fluid J1 in Singapore.

By the way how old is yr car? My wife's car manufactured in 2007.. maybe that time Mitsubishi hasn't produced CVT Fluid J1?

I think I remembered it was Mitsubishi Diaqueen SP III.

Anyway, I am changing my ATF fluid in a couple of weeks time when I send my car for servicing.

I let you know after that. [laugh]

Er, how about Hankook V12?

Not too noise but good grip. Definitely not as quiet as yokohama aspec db.
