Birds and fish pet shops are almost nonexistence now in HDB shop houses. The peak was when Dhoby Ghaut where Cathy cinema stands where lined with aquarium shops.

Are we able to bring such scene back? Maybe a pet street somewhere? [wave]

beside serangoon, the rest are farms. it would be nice to have a pet street or farm where family can visit and not necessarily to buy pets. even serangoon north is not as vibrant now and i wonder if they will disappear soon.

The farms have family frenly activities too. Some of them have prawning and fishing ponds too.

I remembered Mainland at Pasir Ris got longkang for kids to catch mollies and guppies. Iwarna at Pasir Ris which my go to place has ponds for fishing.

Neo Tiew and Lim Chu Kang farms also have long kang and fishing ponds Qian Hu at Lim Chu Kang also got fish spa. They provide free shuttle bus from CCK.

Just throwing it out...

bought 2 Gourami and 6 mollies last Saturday. 2 of the latter have moved on to their next live...2 of the remaining 4 are fine while the other 2 are lifeless.

I've added a few small salt crystals hoping to improve the tank...what else can I do?

Gourami are adapting very well...

Do partial water change. Ard 30%. Use only treated or overnight water.

Introduce more oxygen into the water. Air pump or more surface water movement.

Ensure filter media is not clogged.

Reduce or no feeding.

Hope your fishes get well soon.

It's fresh water conditioned with some salt and general tonic three weeks ago. Incline towards it's too clean, lacking bacteria...

I did...

Didn't know that female mollies give birth to the youngs like mammal...

But they'd cannibalize the youngs...left with only one seeking refuge at the pump when I left home for work earlier today. Hope it can survive till l get home.
