Anyone know if is open on 1st day of CNY? If yes, what time huh?

 

Also, can anyone suggest what to do in JB early morning with kids in tow? As the hotel can only check in the afternoon.

I went to Tesco yesterday. the staff said they opened on 1st day CNY....

 

usually 1st n 2nd day CNY most of the shops (Chinese owner) are closed.... the one open Malay n India shop and stall.

 

U come in early morning, go n have breakfast.... most fast food outlets are open.... i usually go the the McDonald near the Petronas petrol station. Got kids play area.... Then can head up to the shopping center that I mention earlier.
