Go workshop and check if absorber already spoilt.

If you open rear door, step inside and let go, the car should only bounce down and then up slightly. If you see alot of movement means spoilt already.

i would recommend you to change stock for stock if you like comfort and don't wanna be scared of humps.

If you install coilovers, you get a bumpier ride but a more stable cornering feel.

If you go coils, maybe can get a camber kit for the front 2 wheels and a front strut bar to play cornering.

Coilovers tend to spoil faster, 2yrs maybe ? depending on how you use it.

Jazz is short wheel base, your rear passengers will not like the ride if you go fast.

sometimes is the back seat clip.

it is a very common prob for honda fit.

the back seat is foldable rite?

my fit had the same sound. i though it was my suspension.

but it turned out to be the clasp for the back seat. i stuff a small cloth in b/w the clip. now no more sound.

have you experienced coilover before ?

If you regularly fetch people, they might not like the hard suspension.

Going over humps and uneven roads might induce vomiting....

If you normally alone and like cornering, then can try coils.

2nd hand coilover only if you can get cheap.

My DR Coilovers from Fongkim are $1.4k iirc. I expect them to last 2+yrs nia.

Neutral Newbie

Hi, sorry to borrow thread, my father's colt plus also experience same issue, when loaded at the rear seat, will have a loud "bump" sound when going over humps, is the suspension collapsed or something?

Should he pay any attention to it?

Thanks in advance

Supercharged

Whatever happens, always change back to originals. Coilovers are hard. Ppl in car can vomit.

If u need to change, go ask min ghee for originals. They are the stockits supplier, located at lavender area. I always buy Honda parts from them.

Of coz check and confirm that it's yr shock absorber getting spoilt first.
