Bro, same emotional feeling here. I was at the Serangoon Stadium taking our pledge together with our rising star Mr Pritam Singh. I felt so proud to be a SINGAPOREANS and in my adult life this is the most memorable event I had. Power to th Peoples.

I watched it online and could still feel the heat!

I've been voting for PAP in the past but enough is enough and tomorrow will be the moment of change!

Regards,

I had a few niggling doubts as of yesterday ... but today, during the cooling off period, as I reflected on the last few days of campaign speeches and printed news, and also of the situation over the last few years,.... my doubts were washed away, and tonight I shall go to sleep with my faith in my countrymen re-affirmed.

And tomorrow, I shall wake up bright and early, and walk over to the election site - and cast my vote, confident on the outcome for the GRC I am in.

Thus, I shall leave you with this paraphrased quote (originally from Independence Day), which should hold ye in stead, as you take the walk down to the election centre tomorrow:

In a few hours, Singaporeans from here will join other Singaporeans from all across the country. And we shall be voting in the largest general election in the history of Singapore since independence. "Singaporean." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the May the 7th, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from the British, the Japanese or the communists ... but from dictatorship. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Seventh of May will no longer be known as a public holiday, but as the day Singaporeans declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our new Independence Day!
