Kangadrool Supersonic January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 After you click "Buy"....., the pricing will "change" with hidden charges suddenly appearing. That's my experience with booking with hotels overseas via online portals (not sure local hotels though). Only used them as price aggregator, but book direct with hotels. Only used them as price aggregator, but book direct with hotels. i use Agoda, Expedia and Ctrip many time, so far the price and charges were quite transparent. Good thing using them is first the price is usually cheaper than booking direct, plus some time you get coupon discount, credit card discount and points for deduction. Kangadrool Supersonic January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 (edited) Agree could be cheaper sometimes (probably due to exchange rates difference), but not much, just a few dollars which I don't mind to forego by booking direct. At least, any changes, easier to settle... Some will become more expensive than direct 'cos got admin/booking fees added.... after clicking "buy" button. i use Agoda, Expedia and Ctrip many time, so far the price and charges were quite transparent. Lala81 Hypersonic January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 If only a few dollar difference i usually book direct. Rather than end up being disappointed if some cockup happened. But hotels.com, booking.com so far have all been good for me.

Mcf777 Turbocharged January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 (edited) Agoda and Expedia both have addition discount if paid with UOB CC. i prefer Agoda.....24hrs CSO service. Just booked Tai Kok hotel. Agoda, Expedia, Booking.com all show left 01 room. Called direct hotel, plenty of rooms. No choice, booked with hotel at S$8 extra per night. dont dare to take risk...required two rooms. Edited January 19, 2017 by Mcf777
Blueray Hypersonic January 19, 2017 Share January 19, 2017 yah trying to book one. But the comparison end up with 'getaroom' which never use before, duno genuine or not I find those ang moh websites prices not cheap one. For our region I would suggest Agoda or Booking. Or just do a search from TripAdvisor, there will show the prices from a few sites.
