Kinda sad. So far no QQ owner replied.

maybe their qq tip top condition and no problem for them

mind also no problem, already 45k

another 5k will change belt, engine oil, gear oil, coolant, filter

after that, every 10k change oil, filter and coolant

i am using $15 mitsubishi coolant, carlu be 5w40 or vx 5w30 engine oil, got it cheap, think around $22 per 5L.

so maintenance wise, spent around $40 per 10k km which include $2 oil filter

so far so good

*i know coolant dont need to change so offen

Hi Stan, thanks for the thread.

My 1.1M QQ is 24k now.

Still under agent warranty.

I'm using only Shell petrol 95 / or 98

with Shell Synthetic oil at every 10k.

So far, all problems have been rectified early on.

I believe as long as we maintain our QQ, it will run pretty smooth.

I'm going to KL and a long distance for the first time, and will try to go up Genting Highland;)

Wow, 17km/L is very good!

I think I've achieved only once for that record.

On average, I think my fuel consumption is about 12-14km/l to date depending if I overdrive my QQ to over 4k rpm

Anyway, I had a very adventurous 3 days journey up to KL and the E2 highway is very smooth and and nice to drive.

After a day spent, we also went up to Genting Resort world as well...:)

Though I had to constantly shift up and down between 3rd and 2nd gear by each steep slopes esp passing the 2nd and 3rd roundabout.

Now I can tell ppl that QQ can go up to Genting Highland, np at all!

2002' Korean come out their own variable valve CVVT engine ( intake only) for the Elantra and Tucson.Beta engine

2009 korean have theta engine.....CVVT both intake and exhaust plus variable length intake.

China Chery already have their own engine a few years back, it is only a matter of time China will catch up, at a shorter learning curve.
