Darryn Turbocharged June 30, 2011 Share June 30, 2011 Will be running 21km for SCSM this year. Woot! how many thousands are running this year? How do you train for it - you train alone or with someone you know?
SingaporeSportster Neutral Newbie June 30, 2011 Share June 30, 2011 I have to admire everybody that can train. I used to, but now I don't have time. What I do remember is that dad used to take me jogging with him when he went for training runs. I was very young, but I would ride my bike while he jogged. Basically avoid heel strike at all. Land on the ball of your foot. Do not lock your knee, instead flex your knee when you land so your calf and thigh muscle takes up some of the shock

SingaporeSportster Neutral Newbie June 30, 2011 Share June 30, 2011 no time is excuse lah I already feel guilty about it so don't scold me. But really - if I come home and go jogging, it would take a lot of time away from family. I wouldn't be able to help my kids with the homework or anything like that.
