Decided to put a new yet to launch Duragloss Nano Clear Seal on a test with Optimum Opti-Guard..Not sure it will be a fair comparison since Opti-Guard is a coating..

Observation

Duragloss Nano CS produce a wet finished...The application is easy on and not require to buff off..Application is similar to Enviroshield..Apply a little and it enable to spread on a large area easily..Once cured..It has a very slick feel..

Let see how durable and resistance it is..

The panel is divided into half..With Opti-Guard and Duragloss Nano CS..As for the prep..clay with Duragloss claybar..Polish with IP and finished with FF..

Wipe down with 99% IPA..

tested the nano sample from bro benny over the weekend with my friend's bike.

steps taken; wash with 901 mix with DNR. clay, then polish with the polish sample from our bro benny, following which wash down again with mama lemon before applying the nano.... (note; i waited a while to ensure whole bike dry before applying it just like usage of ES.)

Personal review - easy to apply, like using ES or optimum sealant, but the results are different.... Nano produce a wet look like carnuba wax and the feel is like after applying the carnuba wax where the surface is very smooth..... only thing now is to see the durability.... :) hope i have time to test on car soon....

here are the pictures. enjoy it. :)

Took some pics of both sides yesterday after rain and also to understand how DG nano performed.. I know Opti-guard sheets water well but does not produce round beads..From my observation..DG nano clear seal has round beads..I will test out the sheeting and it react with APC..IPA and kerosene wipe down..

Stay tune..

Still holding up well..the right side is OptiGuard..

hahhaha boss, wash car when thunderstorm coming huh?......

anyway other than my friend's bike, i did nano on my other friend one which currently i am riding.... 2 weeks under rain and shine, the stain left really was almost invisible unless u really close up to see..... and best part, it still give u the wet look that u like..... though i feel that the water beading was not as strong as the colinite wax....hmmm think once mine is out from workshop in sep, will do a full nano follow by wax..... :)

My observation is either to have good sheeting or a nice round beading.. the duragloss nano clear seal will be more towards consumer.. easy to use like Enviroshield..hopefully i can have them soon..yea

hahaha.... maybe because the bike i ride kanna rain almost everyday ....that's y observe more on water beading..... beside that, bikes surfaces are smaller henceforth not easy to observe the sheeting effect...:) yes so far i find that nano is as easy use as es but it also shine better than es plus the fact that 1 application will give the surface a very slick look..... think consumers will definitely love this.... :)
