PETALING JAYA, Sept 17 — Two policemen who allegedly tried to extort a security guard were injured after the guard along with three others attacked the duo at Km41.5 of the Express Rail Link (ERL) rail roads at Dengkil on Thursday.

One officer was left with slash wounds on his left arm while another suffered facial injuries.

In the 1.20pm incident, an ERL executive contacted the police after a security supervisor informed him that a guard had claimed four men tried to extort him.

Twenty minutes later, the supervisor called the executive again to inform him that the guard had apprehended the duo but two others, also believed to be policemen, escaped.

A source said the executive later went to the scene of the incident and saw the policemen, aged 24 and 29, surrounded by four guards.

“Employees at the station claimed the policemen had approached the security guards several times before for money,” said the source.

Selangor deputy police chief DCP Datuk Mohd Fuad Abdul Latiff said three constables and a lance corporal had been detained.

Initial investigations found that no money transaction had taken place.

“We arrested the four policemen based on the guards' allegation that they were harassing them and had asked for money. We found out that there was no money transaction involved,” he said.

It is the learnt the policemen were attached with the Dengkil and Sepang police station. They are being treated at Putrajaya Hospital.

The case has been classified as voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons.

Still, no money was handed over. So will be very hard to pin charges on the polis. Worse, now the guards themselves being investigated for VCH with dangerous weapons.

"The Sunday edition of Malay daily Utusan Malaysia cited an anonymous police source revealing that the immigration officers under investigation received between RM200 and RM2,500 as commission for each job. "

Their TP colleagues along the NS highway earned more .... [lipsrsealed]

One 'blacklister' can only enter for 90 days and he pays only once every 3 months. TP colleagues along highways countless vehicles daily .... :XD:
