Hosaybo 6th Gear August 27, 2011 Share August 27, 2011 design variations..... even though the basic shape is the same, has to be put together and assess globally. Most of the time, Toyota is still on the side of conservative and I think it is more becos of their target market segment.
Yaloryalor 5th Gear August 27, 2011 Share August 27, 2011 personally, i'm disappointed at the front. looks alike to current one, like no progress. the US model looks better, like HS250h. but seeing the response of forumers, it's no wonder they design ASEAN model like this. they do know market taste. Most imp is they have to have the black interior option!! Current model all beige colour leather with fake wooden trimming in light colour. Ugly. In thai and Tw, there are black interior! Much much nicer!!!
Tohto Hypersonic August 27, 2011 Share August 27, 2011 Timing is bad, now most ppl buying conti cars. Tough for camry. But in Malaysia and Thailand, they will still sell like hot cake. Pro-conti I think is only in singapore
Tohto Hypersonic August 27, 2011 Share August 27, 2011 Perhaps it's an opportunist time for Hyundai to launch the 2.4GDi Grandeur/ Azera and Kia to launch the K7 as well =) K7 is beautiful, C&C should launch it.

Especially in Thailand as you can hardly see other D-seg sedan other than Camry... At least in Malaysia can see quite a number of Accord, Teana and i45 on the road... Singapore is considered to be a small market so they won't worry too much...
Zze121 3rd Gear August 27, 2011 Share August 27, 2011 (edited) Look like face lift, Changes in front/back bumper, lights n grill, Interior Colour, steering wheel. Civic6228 6th Gear August 30, 2011 Share August 30, 2011 Same for the Hyundai Grandeur too. These cars will dwaft the new 5-Series and E-Class =) Potential buyers for the F10 or the W212 will never consider the K7 or Grandeur. It is not just about size but the prestige of owning the German brands. If they just looking at size ..... they will look at the 7 series or S class...
