One $ million condo deal, commission already $10,000.

Smelly smelly super rich by MCF standard!

Ok even one deal a month also enough to drive BMW car.

Very good career!

Not everyone can strike it rich as property agents. For the many you've seen whom did well as ppty agents, just as many had failed too..

Agree....there are more who did ok than those who are really doing well. Most of them will have to invest or save their $$$ well while the market is still good.

I'm in property now. Earning more than my previous jobs, but its ok, not fantastic like my banker, lawyer, and oil broking friends. Its a lot of hard work, and I'm lucky as I have an extensive contact base from my previous two jobs (who are very familiar with how I work) which I'm leveraging to my advantage. That being said I'm one of the few relatively new agents that's doing ok. Most are still struggling, and if I did fantastically well, I wouldn't just squander my money as I would never know when something might happen and I would be unable to survive without savings.

Not so easy to sell lah. I know of properties that have been on the market for 6 mths that still arent sold, plus think about it this way, there are over 30K of us trying to make ends meet [:p]

There are a few agents I know off who make $X and then squander all of it on a car, image, etc to hao lian, then cannot sustain their lifestyle after. For me min also must save 60% to 70% and be frugal enough to make the non savings component last as long as possible.
