Its twin charged not turbo. Die die must go back AD for maintenance, else only a handful of workshop (think autovox, auto spritze) hav the know how.

There is still turbo.

Low RPM using Supercharger. High RPM using turbo.

Am driving one now... From the first batch which comes with hankook tyres.

So far so good, overtaking is easy... Back is quite spacious.

 

Just that interior quality is very plastic compare to mk5.

VW gonna scrap the twincharged- Super and Turbo-charged system,

 

and in its place will be a twin-scroll turbocharger, come Mk 6.5/ Mk 7 Golf.

First of all, your warranty will be void. Secondly, the 7speed dsg cant take the additional torque. so many MU "chiew". go to th VAG forum you will know how many 7 speed dsg got this problem.

even stock car also not spared!!

dunch think so lah. Mechanically identical to Mk6 GTI. In fact, the warranty claims for Skoda is much lower than VW and Audi according to a research in UK or Europe. Very strange brand.

I think they will use percentages to take that into account. Btw, Skodas are pretty popular in UK and Europe. So the difference might not be too big. VW is nice but the difference in pricing does makes me choose Skoda.

supposingly skoda is a popular brand in UK. remember read that they are number one car in UK so i dont think number will be so low..

 

plus they are crown most reliable in UK quite a few time in recent years.
