bro...actually all these coins are not because of saving habit...for me, I had a container and everytime I reach home, I will drop all my coins into it and it turn out to be quite abit after awhile....but look back, sometime these coins can be quite a big amount and you can get for yourself some items

 

for me, it is.

i been saving since young, i got this piggy bank that my mum got me.

every year or two, this piggy give me 2k worth.

 

just this year.. the piggy is super full..

yet i have no means to unstuff it.

 

lucky mum offer to help me out in packing the coins.

no. i just have the habbit of putting all the coins into a piggy bank to lighten my wallet. so after many yrs, i ended having these. [:p]

i only separate and count them during CNY spring cleaning once a yr into diff denomination. :D

i once met a guy who does coin changng business for a living!

 

Basically he buys coins from vending machine owners and sell them coffeeshop owners. the margin he charges is lower than that of banks. but it is hard work. he told me that his van suspension forever spoil and donno change how many van liao [speechless]

I have lots of coins to exchange. 50cent, 20cent, 10cent and $1. My 10cent coin box is filled to the brim.

 

What are ur charges like???

my coin collection (mixture of 5c 10c 20c 50c S$1) for the past 3yrs about 150 to 200kg.

going to move house .....will offload it into DBS ATM coin machine since it is free of charge using children acct.
