Advice needed for in car charger

Hi all,

I'm using a packard bell compesseo GPS. The charger to be used in the car was spoilt, the mini USB port connect from the cable snapped.

Can any kind souls direct me where to get a replacement unit? It is a in car charger to be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket with mini USB out to charge the GPS.

Secondly, any shop to recommend for me to wire the new charger internally? My current one is hidden somewhere within the dashboard but I cannot remember the exact shop for this wiring service.

Thanks to all in advance who give me advice!

Cheers.

NB: A picture of the in car charger can be found as attached.post-23880-1319552880.jpg

Sim Lim Square will have a higher chance for a suitable replacement for connection to a cigi lighter socket.

There are several shops dealing only phone chargers/ accessories.

Bring your GPS along to try and also show them.

For the internal wiring, I dont have recommendation.

I usually DIY.

Hi Mr 5936,

thanks for your comments. I've managed to find a replacement at Sim Lim. As I'm not very electrical inclined, I will need someone to help to rewire the connection internally, in case I screwed up the whole thing.

:D
