Hello all,

Does anyone know where to repair a Focal 4.75 car amplifier?

Keep blowing the fuses.

AudioEdge no longer the local agent.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks !!!

I guess the add that Jasles shared is a nice place to bring your stuff for repair..:) Anyway have you guys heard that Mazda's new Takeri concept car will be unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show late next month? The vehicle will come out a new regenerative braking system. The brakes will power the car's electrical functions and thereby conserve fuel. you can try audioDr. 96996444. look for ken.

Me driving an 8 yr old sunny. Amplifier is interminttent ... sometimes working and sometime not... when it works...all of a sudden it gives out a loud blast and stop working. After i disloged the front panel for a day or 2..it works again.

Any advise on how much to cost to repair or replace it. I just need a radio...not crazy about sound system in car. Hope not to spend too much cos car left less than 2 years to drive.

Any good idea? Pls help, Thank you

Bro,

If you only need radio and not particular on sound system in the car.

Do you need the amplifier in the 1st place?

You can just remove the amp and drive(connect) the speaker using you head unit directly.

earlier and not much cost involve.....

Oh, I dont really need an amplifier as long as i can still listen to radio for traffic news.

But I do not know where are the amp wiring located in the sunny.

Anyway you got a very good idea, i didnt know our radio set can direct drive the speaker.

Thanks alot

Bro in this case are you aware if there is actually any amp in your car? :-)

Your current speaker might actually be connected to the player by default for all u might know..

Best to get your trusted audio shop to check if you are not too sure on this.

Faulty player, amp , speaker or even a simple lose connection might cause those intermittent sound that u mention.

Amp is usually install under the front seat or at the boot area.

Thank you Bro for your advise. You are right, I didnt see any amps at my boot. The audio set is provided by Tan Choong when I first bought the car from them brand new. Maybe I will try to check behind the front panel of the audio set, see if there is any loose cables.

I dont hv any audio shop..

Care to recommend any, thanks alot

Anybody has any current contacts for car amplifier repairs?  I've been given an amp to install in my ride but one channel has intermittent output.  Asked a few repair guys but nobody seems to want to do it... only home audio equipment.  Feels kind of wasted if it is a simple problem like a cold solder joint to give it up and have to buy a new amp.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated...

Hi,

What is the brand and model of your car amplifier?

Have you tried contacting the local agent?
