I am sure there are some more millionair sportmen and women. Is just that they keep a low profile but earning 5 figure monthly as coaches. But of course, these people are doing sports are a very high level. Therefore, as long as you are delicated, committed and willing to put in long hours of hard work, playing sports can make money. A bit of a silly logic, if you ask me. Then the athletes should actually adopt a strategy of "rationing" their gold medals, each year improving by just one or two - so that they show continual improvement?? Making a clean sweep is very bad news for the next Games team!!! Another reason why this logic is silly is that other countries' athletes are not standing still - they also improve or get worse, depending on their current crop of talent. Be it doctors, engineers, lawyers etc You want to earn big bucks you must be on top of your trade. Same same for sports man. I know of engineer with almost 10 years of experience earning as much as a mid grade technician nia.... What to do?
