Jamessoh Neutral Newbie November 27, 2011 Share November 27, 2011 hello there, was thinking of doing something different. most people go genting and stay at the resort hotels. has anyone stayed at CS temple hotel? any feedback? car security issues? ↡ Advertisement

Kopites Supersonic November 27, 2011 Share November 27, 2011 (edited) Stayed there once a few years back. Adv. - px the cheaper on genting. Managed to walk in and get a room on the 3rd day of CNY. Clean room. Parking not a problem. If u prefer serene and peace ambience...CS is a good place. There are feeder service from Genting highliand to CS temple but on a small time schedule. Veg restaurant very good food but px a bit on high side. Prefer the road side push carts' food that line up along the small street toward cable car station. Disadv - troublesome to drive up every now and then for the casino, shopping, foods etc. About 5min driving distance. The worse part is u might not be able to find a lot up on genting. Ya one more impt thing, u do need to moderate your shower timing to 15min per adult if u have two adults. Apparently the heated tap run cold after 25 to 30min. You have to wait for another 30min before the water is heated up again. So got time for "F....play" in the cubicle? The_Bear Turbocharged November 27, 2011 Share November 27, 2011 The Chin Swee Temple at Genting, is a replica of 清水岩寺, 泉州, hometown of Mr. Lim Goh Tong. Kindof his ancestral temple. Nice and peaceful place. Taking the lift to the roof can be quite a scary experience for some.
