Hello. I am on Sony head unit and speakers, JBL amp and subwoofer. Recently when driving sound on right side would go out suddenly. It can be resolved by cranking up the volume very high and back down to normal volume again. However the sound on right may go out again, randomly, on the right side after that.

What may be spoilt? Fuse? or is it a spoiling head unit?

Thanks

Before you do anything...If you are a DIY person...Stretch your hand to the back of the head unit and push in the connection cable...sometime, it is just connection problem...happened to me before...

Could it be the connection at the speaker loose?

Just open the door panel and check the malfunctioning speaker will do!

Hi, has any experienced TS problem before and successfully resolved it?

I am facing the same problem but no amp installed. Happens when travelling over uneven roads. Checked HU connection seems ok. Have yet to open the door panel.

Well I believe it might not be the Amp or head unit.

Its the poor quality of the speaker.

The coil burn already

Just my closest guess from past experience

It's not my fault

It's usually loose wire, there no moving parts in AMP and radio so it usually will last a long long time.

Rainwater do get to the speakers somehow. Last time my previous car I dismantle the door panel and see the rust on the magnets and part of the speaker. I think most cars will have the same issue after a while.

The chosen one will bring balance to the Force...I mean Singapore. Even star wars do not reserve "the chosen one" to a sith lord or a jedi or a wookie.

Agree. My past ride also has the same issue. Must take out the panel and clean the connection. I prevented it with some blutac and tapes around the connection.
