RAdio Model on Honda civic 1.6

just got an civic 1.6, with alpine radio single din, i see that there is an ipod cable in the glove compartment, but i need an USB in as my songs are in a thumbdrive. is this radio unit able to input 1?

Guess only able to use songs from an iPod using this cable ... not sure whether able to swap or add another USB cable, though the manual mentioned the unit is capable of.

I am using alpine 2 din, the ipod cable in the glove compartment is connected to a usb cable which is connected to your head unit. So u can technically unplug the ipod cable and connect your usb device. But I think this USB cable may not be long enuf to extent to your glove compartment.

Does this model have a 3.5mm jack behind that can be used to plug in any mp3 player? Tried to pull out the system once, but gave up because not my car. But it has good intergration with ipod/iphone since you can control from the system itself.

it has's a 3.5mm jack but it's not for those plug into any mp3 player.
