Kax2 Neutral Newbie December 31, 2011 Share December 31, 2011 I am using alpine 2 din, the ipod cable in the glove compartment is connected to a usb cable which is connected to your head unit. So u can technically unplug the ipod cable and connect your usb device. But I think this USB cable may not be long enuf to extent to your glove compartment. Snowblind Neutral Newbie January 1, 2012 Share January 1, 2012 Does this model have a 3.5mm jack behind that can be used to plug in any mp3 player? Tried to pull out the system once, but gave up because not my car. But it has good intergration with ipod/iphone since you can control from the system itself.
