I tot is straightaway jail + fine? Then anyone can just drive w/o licence + insurance liao. Anyway, first time bo penalty, just stern warning nia.

Btw, how do u classify stern warning? The letter comes with a voicemail with a stern message?

Something is terribly wrong with our law liao. Throw litter kena CWO, illegal driving with a potential to kill someone stern warning?

Then again, 60.1% cant be wrong.

Confirm double standard...

My uncle was recently charged in court for driving his laid-up panel van without valid insurance and road tax. Kena caught when passing though ERP gantry and not accident. He pleaded guilty and was fined $1500 and license suspended for 12 months. He is also 1st time offender.

I will get this picture printed and show it to the MP to help my uncle appeal. At least get 6months off the suspension also better than nothing. <_<
